I don’t think you’re entirely wrong.
Mostly because of the class release cadence personally, I’m barely playing everyday because I have zero motivation when my class is at least two months away, and realistically a lot longer.

I agree with the OP - however I would want to replace AmazoGames with SMG. Smilegate is calling the shots, not AmazonGames.
So… you say instead of AGS, which are known for ruining games all the time, it is smilegate, a Korean F2P/Mobile Casino Developer calling the shots?

I haven’t given them any money outside the founder’s packs but I have spent all my gems that came with the packs.
When we ever get indoor housing with furniture & trophies & stuff there should be furniture packs too. Someday. Someday I’ll spend money if I’m still here.

Sure, SMG has over 1.2k employees and is a billion $ company. We talk about AGS and not Amazon…
I don’t see how that does change their terrible, decade long, history of canceled and failed games.
Mobile Apps, Grand Tour Game, Breakaway, Crucible, New World… all monumental failures!
If they didn’t have the Millions from Amazon to burn, they would be long out of business.
But if you knew that, how did you get fooled… again!
Stop giving them money and stop actually playing since they also look at their player count figure…though the money part is obviously the more important and impactful of the two.

You are right, but it won’t mean much if addicts and streamers keep spending 5-figures per month into the game.
Those people literally not care about how they messed up the industry with their addictive behavior!
I didn’t say that and they certainly bear their share of the blame (AGS), but SMG is also not the cute little developer studio from Korea with the sympathetic director who only sees the well being of the players.
If anything, SG is even worse!
AGS at least tried to develop games which are not Casinos, but they simply lack the understanding of the market.
SG is using predatory monetization on purpose.

You’ll get over it, there’s so much to see in the world, you’ll eventually realise it when Lost Ark is dead and your fight is done.
I’m also very amused how many venerate SGR so hard and believe a head who was the one to announce “A class every 2-3 months”, which means our current cycle is indeed going faster from what they had planned.
Plus is also the company who is the actual developer of all these “Predatory systems” people call out a publisher for.
I’m not in AGS side either, they both fucked up hard not really considering the extent of needed servers in EU case, their terrible support and others, but let’s not forget the original systems and code are owned by one side. Still, both are working as a team which means the fault is not from one side nor the other but both.
Yet people are happy because “Golden called out Amazon” and it seems the dude was saying they should not hold release information regarding t3… and they could have contacted them? If you can’t communicate with your work partner then there are more issues than just pointing fingers.
