This 5% damage increase does not exist without a store transaction on one end. It REQUIRES a microtransaction. Even if you buy it with gold from the AH, it only exists there because of the microtransaction that someone else participated in.
A relic weapon with 90+ quality can exist without any microtransaction taking place. Difference is whales buy gold to speed that process up.
You’re comparing a requirement vs a choice.
Give me one other example that results in a damage increase to that degree that CANNOT exist without a microtransaction. The only other example is the Epic Skins, which we’ve already got some of for free and they are attainable in game such as the Providence Stone ones. Legendary Skins are not.
The Yoz’s jar is a system made to recycle unwanted skins. Recycling them gives you a chance for legendary skin.
If you want to abuse it and get full set in 1 day, then go ahead and spend 500£. FOMO.
5% Chance foregendary, and other skins have 9% chance.
js you can get a full set of pheons required for a full 1370 set with only 4-5k gold which is just a selling mats for 3-4 days or doing your weekly abyss on like 4 characters pheons arent a big deal unless ur trying to min max and get 9/7 stones thats the only time they become an issue
not saying i like having pheons exist but just saying it’s really not that big of an issue unless you think sacrificing half a weeks worth of mats is the end of the world
Well, pheons have no place in game since it helps with nothing. Everything has a 3 trade limit.
The jar is a recycle system. In kr some ppl have 1000 skins. There is no space for 1000 skins, or, if there is, u need 10 alts and a nightmare management.
You dont want a skin anymore? Reroll if for a chance of legendary. Thats all
If it was a recycling system you could just buy skins directly with the cloth. Instead it’s an RNG fiesta to hide the true cost of the legendary skins. This is just a system to fleece the customer. Nothing more, nothing less.
Lootboxes are gambling with real money and shoudnt be used/allowed by law in videogames (often played by young people and minors) also the addiction risk they create for the industry profit purpose only is disgusting.
From what i heard, the pieces give 2% main stat (strenght/dex/int) where epic skins “only” give 1% - so it increases from 4% mainstat to 8% mainstat
Mainstat is used to calculate you attack power: AP=floor[sqrt(sw/6)] with s being strength and w being weapon power - to make it an easy calc, lets say you have 100 strength and 10 weapon power - with 4% (epic skins) it’s AP=floor[sqrt(10410/6)] = 13,166 AP
With 8% (legendary Skins) it’s 13,416 AP which is approx 1,9% increase
Someone has to pay first and the price is likely going to be out of reach for most players due to how bad the rates are and how expensive it is in general to roll for it.
The only reasonable option for most people who actually want the legendary set is to fork out the money.
